Where the day starts and ends
For the people closest to the couple, lodging is usually the hardest part. Eighteen places at one address settles it: getting ready, waiting, coming back and breakfast all happen in the same place.
The accommodation is entirely on one level: all bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces are on the ground floor, with no stairs. Even the oldest guests stay part of the whole day.
The backdrop is already there
A stage mill from 1870 with its octagonal brick gallery, a protected monument since 1978 and grinding again since 2009.
Talking it over outside
Garden, terrace and veranda wrap around the building, with a barbecue and a fire pit. The evening after the day takes care of itself.
